The weather is warming up, although we still have a few cold nights.Flowers and trees are blooming, the weeds and grass are growing fast with all the rains. Birds are chirping and squirrels are hopping around. I washed the cars yesterday, but today there is another coat yellow of pollen on them. The sun is shining bright, and hot in the afternoon. And I can smell the fragrant of the Dogwoods, Jasmine and Pines. Well, Spring is in the Air.
Spring officially began on March 20th.It will last through the months, April, May and June.
Spring is seen as a time of growth, renewal, of new life (both plant and animal) being born. The term is also used more generally as a metaphor for the start of better times, as in Prague Spring.
Spring is the time to plant your flowers and vegetables. Most people start their first planting on Easter Day.The cool whether and hot sunshine will help your plants to spring up fast.
It is also the time to put up those winter clothings and clean up the closet. Thus, Spring Cleaning.
Also, a time to start anew, start a new goal. A time to wear those spring outfits.A time to start a new job or new career and a time for Spring break, to take a vacation at the beach.

Easter Fortune Cookie
Throughout North America, , the Easter holiday has been partially secularized, so that some families participate only in the attendant revelry, central to which is (traditionally) decorating Easter eggs on Saturday evening and hunting for them Sunday morning, by which time they have been mysteriously hidden all over the house and garden. Chocolate eggs have largely supplanted decorated eggs in Australia.
In North America, eggs and other treats are delivered and hidden by the Easter Bunny in an Easter basket which children find waiting for them when they wake up. Many families in America will attend Sunday Mass or services in the morning and then participate in a feast or party in the afternoon.
In the UK children still paint colored eggs, but most British people simply exchange chocolate eggs on the Sunday. Chocolate Easter Bunnies can be found in shops, but the idea is considered primarily a US import. Many families have a traditional Sunday roast, particularly roast lamb, and eat foods like Simnel cake, a fruit cake with eleven marzipan balls representing the eleven faithful apostles. Hot cross buns, spiced buns with a cross on top, are traditionally associated with Good Friday, but today are eaten through Holy Week and the Easter period.
Today Easter Fortune cookie reads "Wish You A Good Journey"- This is good for those who plan to take your Spring Break Vacation.

Leap Year 2008/Leap Day- Fortune Cookies
This year February 29Th ,2008 is a Leap Year's Day.We work or enjoy one extra day.
What is a Leap Year/Leap Day?
A leap year (or intercalary year) is a year containing one or more extra days (or, in the case of lunisolar calendars, an extra month) in order to keep the calendar year synchronised with the astronomical or seasonal year. For example, in the Gregorian calendar, February would have 29 days in a leap year instead of the usual 28. Because seasons and astronomical events do not repeat at an exact number of full days, a calendar which had the same number of days in each year would, over time, drift with respect to the event it was supposed to track. By occasionally inserting (or intercalating) an additional day or month into the year, the drift can be corrected. A year which is not a leap year is called a common year.
February 29 is a date that usually occurs every four years, and is called leap day. This day is added to the calendar in leap years as a corrective measure, because the earth does not orbit around the sun in precisely 365 days.
A person born on February 29 may be called a "leapling" or "leaper"[10]. In common years they usually celebrate their birthdays on 28 February or 1 March.
For legal purposes, their legal birthdays depend on how different laws count time intervals. In Taiwan, for example, the legal birthday of a leapling is 28 February in common years, so a Taiwanese leapling born on February 29, 1980 would have legally reached 18 years old on February 28, 1998.
“ If a period fixed by weeks, months, and years does not commence from the beginning of a week, month, or year, it ends with the ending of the day which proceeds the day of the last week, month, or year which corresponds to that on which it began to commence. But if there is no corresponding day in the last month, the period ends with the ending of the last day of the last month.[11] ”
In some situations, March 1 is used as the birthday in a non-leap year since it then is the day just after February 28.
So what is your fortune for the Leap Year? Hold on to it , it will come only every 4 years.
" You will always have Good Luck in your personal affairs."
"You Look Pretty/Handsome"
" You will always get what you want through your charm and personality"
